What are candidates saying about you?
‘…a great opportunity to learn, share and network
in a relaxed atmosphere.’
At Mystery Applicant we’re pleased to be sponsoring a series of seminars that hold the candidate experience at their heart. We are providing an ideal opportunity for senior HR professionals to network in a supplier free environment as they learn about, discuss and debate recruitment innovation.
Our first seminar, on the 25th of April, attracted delegates from Lloyds TSB, Linklaters, EMC2, Oakam and News Corporation; a great mix of people and companies that were guaranteed to create an open debate.
‘…great venue, great content and really engaging.’
The seminar took place at Wallacespace, a nifty little find near St. Pancras in Central London. Its slightly quirky, informal yet professional interior was the perfect setting for what became a lively and insightful seminar.
‘…impressive and informative speakers.’
Matt Alder, resourcing expert and futurologist from MetaShift, kicked off the discussion with a presentation focused on the force and trends that are driving candidate experience. Fresh back from a month touring the US, Matt shared his experiences about what’s new, what’s trending and what other companies are doing to remain competitive.
‘…a perfect balance of the strategic and the practical.’
Matt’s strategic outlook was balanced by Colin Minto, G4S’s Global Head of Resourcing, as he described the G4S journey through the technologies and social arena that led to the formation of a multi-award winning resourcing strategy.
‘Informal and relaxed…
the right sized group to engender real discussion.’
These presentations set the pace for the ensuing discussion where attendees shared their recruiting challenges and successes, discussing the importance of candidate experience within the resourcing strategy. Colin positioned the value of using Mystery Applicant to validate his strategy and gain the valuable insight needed to drive his plans forward. This resulted in the development of an engaging brand and candidate experience, allowing G4S to continue to attract the talent they need globally.
As the seminar broke for lunch, the discussion continued on into the Caffѐspace where everyone had a delicious chef-served meal to complement the tempting treats that were available throughout the day at Wallacespace. The perfect end to a stimulating and exciting seminar; one full of innovative revelations that brought candidate experience to the forefront of the resourcing debate.
